Dig World Review - Early Steam Review | JellieRose.com I've been playing Dig World for the past few days. The game itself doesn't come out until the 17th of this month, so shout-out to the devs for letting me play this game early. I already have 32 of the 60 achievements, and I plan on getting them all. This game is super simple and addictive. Just One More Run... Dig World is a run-based game, so you have a time limit to dig and gather as many resources as you can. But you can't just gather them; you also have to return them to your shipping box for them to count. Some of the item descriptions are hilarious. Here are a few: Jawbone - "No more talking." Sausages - "A string of mystery meat-meat sausages." Rotten Foot - "A detached foot in questionable condition." They had me rolling. There are 400 items total, and I have around 250 of them so far. Frozen Flame Review – Is This Open-World Survival RPG Still Worth Playing? (2026) First Impressions So this game has been in my backlog for a while. Everyone knows that I like open-world, base-building, and exploration kinds of games. So, survival, sandbox, and crafting games—your basic Minecraft, Ark, Palworld kind of games. I guess those were the ones I could think of off the top of my head. I mean, there are others like The Forest, Scrap Mechanic, Satisfactory, and Valheim. I could go on for a while. I just like those styles of games and have played many of them. If you enjoy survival crafting games with exploration and building mechanics, Frozen Flame definitely fits into that category. My Little Puppy Review – An Emotional Adventure Every Dog Lover Should Experience So this game was given to me by a friend who said I had to play it on stream—I couldn't just play it by myself. I was afraid it was either going to be something misleading or something emotional. It was definitely the latter. Arkero VR Review (2025) – Chaotic VR RPG Action | Jellie Rose What Is Arkero VR? Well, when it comes to Arkero VR's gameplay, I would say it's an RPG. While the Steam description lists it as a MOBA with 3 classes, you can practice in a single-player mode and later take on waves in co-op or battle in PvP. Did I mention this is a VR game? What is Surviving Ceres? Surviving Ceres is a space colony simulator. The concept of this indie survival game is to weather the harsh environment, build a colony, and survive alien attacks. Games like Surviving Ceres, I would say, one is  Planet Crafter . It falls in the same genre of a harsh environment that you want to improve.  Surviving Ceres was developed by Ryan Saunders, who also made the game Game Dev Masters and The Ai Games. Dinkum Gameplay Review: Relaxing Vibes and Crocodile Chases I can't remember when, but sometime within the last month, there was a free weekend for this game, and I managed to actually pay attention to it and play it for a few days.  Go me for paying attention to the ad carousel. So I wanted to share my thoughts on this Animal Crossing-like survival simulator.  Dinkum is a multiplayer, build a life, explore, and really another game like Animal Crossing. It just falls into that genre pretty well. It was developed by James Bendon and published by KRAFTON, Inc. The game came out in July of 2022 and seems to have some regular updates in the new hubs portion of the landing page on Steam, between patch notes and bug fixes. Critter Cove: Washed Ashore and Wonderstruck This lovely game came out in September of last year. Developed and published by Gentleman Rat Studios. It's described as an open world, town-building, life sim. Critter Cove is set in some kind of post-apocalyptic world, where animals and people live, and for some reason keep getting shipwrecked on places. I would think the lore has to do with some kind of flooding, as there are many islands and sunken towns to explore. This game reminds me of what I would like Animal Crossing to be.  From Trash to Treasure: Crafting, Collecting, and Upgrading As mentioned, it's a town-building sim. So the troupe of you wash up, found by a mayor of sorts that runs a shop where you can sell/buy things. The only difference is that he just gives you a house. Esteem: The Little Wolf Saga This game reminds me of an old-school top-down, turn-based RPG. I mean, that is what it is, but still, ah the good old days. There is even the hit action addition to the fighting, but we'll go over that later.  Esteem came out on March 6th of 2025, developed by Ingami Studio. This is their only game. It was published by Dream Stories, who have published other games like Valledi a side-scroller game about a girl and her little drone, Envyus, a top-down RPG game, and quite a few others. Tobacco Shop Simulator: Prologue (edited 3/31/2025) Tobacco Shop Simulator is just what you think it is: a shop where you sell Tobacco products and accessories. The game came out on November 1st, 2024, and you can play this prologue for free. The great thing about it is that you don't have to hire employees when you can just invite a friend to play with you. This game can be played by up to 4 players. It was developed and published by Buiness Tycoon. Business Tycoon also makes Retail Company Simulator. Both games are normally $11.99 but are on sale until March 13th, 2025.  Shout out to the devs for suggesting the key through a program called Keymailer.
