Hey, it’s been a While ❤️

Hey guys, it’s been a while.

I’ve been on a bit of a journey lately. I stepped away from streaming for quite a while and only recently started getting back into it for a few weeks. Unfortunately, that changed pretty quickly when I was no longer employed by the company that had briefly sponsored me.

A Sudden Shift in My Work Life

During my 8 months with the company, I quickly went from being a cleaner to becoming their social media manager, and eventually taking on Human Resources responsibilities as well. I was really happy to be able to use my skills and the knowledge I had built up over the years.

Honestly, it was easier promoting a brand that offered services than it was promoting myself. Some clients would even get upset if I wasn’t the one cleaning, and it felt nice to feel needed.

Life at Home & Being a Mom of Teens

My kids are teenagers in high school now, and it feels like they don’t need me as much as they used to. I was a stay-at-home mom for years while creating content during school hours, so it’s been a big adjustment as they’ve become more independent. Other than attending the events they host and hearing the usual school gossip, they rarely ask for help. 

A Recent Trip & A Needed Reset

Things just didn’t work out there, and now I’m back on the job-hunting journey again. Recently, I got back from the Appalachian Mountains after traveling to Castlewood, Virginia, for my husband’s grandmother’s funeral services. As difficult as it was, I think the trip gave me the reset I needed. I spent a lot of time looking at the beauty of the mountains and breathing in the fresh air. I watched the calves frolic, the birds fly, and lots of groundhogs wander around. I was actually shocked by that one. My daughter swears she saw a bear while we were driving. 

What I’m Focused on Now

My goal right now is really to build myself back up. I’ve always believed you should never stop learning. Lately, I’ve been working on learning a new language, and I’m finding myself able to recall more and more words and meanings. I think the hardest part is learning the past and present tenses, but we’ll save that conversation for another time. I'm always learning a new craft and how to make something better. I've been watching a lot of sewing videos on how to do seams and things in different ways. Which will help with cosplaying, as some shapes just aren't normal. 

Who I Am & What I Create

So, if you’re new here, I usually play games, give reviews, hunt for achievements, and just try to have a great time. I also love cosplay and making random crafts. Recently, I’ve started getting into making T-shirts, graphics, and 3D prints, with even more creative projects planned soon.

One of my goals is to upgrade my 3D printer because mine is pretty old at this point, and I’d love something with Wi-Fi instead of having to rely on an SD card.

What’s Next for the Channel

I’m hoping to spend more time creating content again while I continue job hunting and figuring out what’s next for me. Honestly, creating has always been one of the things that brings me comfort, and I’m excited to start sharing more again. 🧡
